Garden Design – Gleneagles Avenue, Poole

This coastal garden design, in Poole is the ideal modern, dynamic outdoor family space and was completed in Spring 2023.

A large porcelain terrace space immediately as you step out into the garden has created the perfect space for lounge seating. The focal point of the lower terrace is a feature multistem, evergreen tree with under planting of textured, evergreen shrubs and Hakonechloa macra has been planted within the paving area.

Transitioning to the middle tier of the garden via wide, porcelain steps, surrounded by evergreen hedging, which help frame the sliding glass doors of the property, you step on the pristine lawn which spreads over two levels with the step being constructed from a natural corten metal material. Feature topiary domes are situated on all corners of both lawns which helps frame the space further.

Turning left and over the stepping stones, is a rustic gas outdoor fireplace which is cladded to match the property and retaining walls, accompanied with a lounge set is surrounded by feature shrub and ornamental grasses to provide interest as well as partial privacy.

Stepping up into the upper area of the garden, this space features a sunken hot tub as well as a lounging space. This part of the garden will feature three umbrella trees that will provide shade during the summer months and privacy all year round.

The planting throughout this completed garden design in Poole consists of low maintenance evergreen shrubs which will be provide structure and balance to the garden. These are surrounded by a variety of different grasses species to provide a low maintenance scheme. The grasses will add texture, movement and sound throughout the different areas throughout the garden.
